Unmatched Wire Bending Correction

VTube-LASER's UNMATCHED Wire Bending Correction

We worked with AIM Inc. to develop bending corrections for wire benders - which is different than correction for regular CNC tube bending machines.

For example, AIM wire benders need bend angle data that can be positive or negative angles. VTube-LASER has a special AIM communications protocol specifically designed to correct even the negative bend angles. Other tube measuring centers cannot handle this kind of correction.

Not only must VTube-LASER communicate differently with wire benders, it must also measure very small parts.  The DCP (Diameter Cut Plane) feature allows VTube-LASER to measure small parts like the one you see on right in the slideshow. Other systems struggle with parts like this that turn back on themselves.

With DCP turned on, the orange card holder on the right was reverse-engineered using a standard LASER scanner. See the model result from  screen image in VTube-LASER (the model on the blue screen).
